About Legends Y.B.A.
Legends Youth Basketball Association began in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region, serving Saginaw and Swan Valley families with rec leagues, competitive teams, and camps. At the 2026 Michigan Middle School Basketball Championship, our 3rd grade boys won the state title, our 6th grade boys took runner-up in an overtime heartbreaker, and our 4th grade boys finished third, falling to eventual champion Jackson Vikings. Multiple teams qualified for states, and our players competed in Jr. NBA events across the region.
Beyond the box score: camps and clinics open to every kid in the community, the annual Swan Valley Blizzard Bash — the first youth basketball tournament Swan Valley ever hosted — kids on the floor at a University of Michigan game, and Team Spirit Night with the Saginaw Spirit.
In 2026, Legends found a new home court: Fleming Island, Florida. We're bringing that same standard — quality coaching and organized seasons — to Clay County: rec league, travel teams, and training and camps, for kindergarten through 8th grade.

Why Legends Exists
Ryhan grew up with limited access to quality coaching and facilities. He built Legends to be the program he wished existed when he was coming up — structured, safe basketball for every kid, regardless of budget. As a father of three boys, he's building the program he wants his own children to experience.
Coaching Journey
A lifelong player and coach, Ryhan has coached athletes from kindergarten through high school — including three years on a varsity high school staff. As a player, he competed alongside and against high-level talent, experiences that shaped the standards and culture he now brings to every Legends practice.
Building Opportunities
He founded Legends in Michigan and brought Jr. NBA to Swan Valley for the first time — an eight-week developmental season for boys and girls K–12 — running it on site. He built a true feeder system with the same terminology and expectations used at the varsity level, and was known for opening the gym at 6:00 a.m. for offseason workouts.
