About Legends YBA
Legends Youth Basketball Association was founded in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region, where we served families in the Saginaw and Swan Valley communities with recreational leagues, competitive teams, and player development programs. Legends teams earned real hardware along the way — our 3rd grade boys won the 2026 Michigan Middle School Basketball Championship state title, multiple teams qualified for states, and our players competed in Jr. NBA events across the region.
Behind the program is leadership that has done this work first-hand — organizing Jr. NBA programming, hosting the annual Swan Valley Blizzard Bash tournament, and running camps and clinics that welcomed every kid in the community.
In 2026, Legends found a new home court: Fleming Island, Florida. We're bringing everything that made the program special — quality coaching, organized seasons, and a family-first culture — to players across Clay County.
Our mission is simple: give every young player a place to fall in love with the game, develop real skills, and build the confidence that carries far beyond the court.
